Dear Members and friends of the Malibu-Mirage,
The Röder Präzision company has invited us to brunch on Saturday, 25th September 2004 at 10 a.m.
Röder Präzision, founded in 1922, is active in the fields of propeller maintenance, gear hydraulics, engines, anti-icing-equipment and mechanics.
We will start with the tour of the works followed by interesting lectures on
1. Engines:
General lecture about Lycoming and Continantal engines.
Lecture about our experiences with diesel engines with particular reference to the Thielert Centurion 1.7 in the Cessna 172.
Possibility of and costs involved in converting a Malibu to a Thielert Centurion4,0 Diesel/A1.
2. Future Avionics:
Presentation of the Garmin 1000 glass cockpit, either as stand alone demonstrator or installed in a Cessna 182.
3. Thermography:
Demonstration and lecture about the use of thermography in finding mistakes in anti-icing-equipment.
Lunch between 12 and 1 o’ clock.
Our ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will take place the day before in Egelsbach on
Friday, 24th September 2004
at 6.30 p.m.
Rooms have been reserved for us at the Landhotel Johanneshof in Egelsbach.
After the meeting there will be dinner at the nearby Gut Neuhof.
The building dates back to the 16th century. Today the restaurant has an international reputation for its cuisine and wine cellar of the highest standard.
